People love lists.
- we love to scrawl to-do lists and grocery lists on sticky notes every chance we get (why do you think 3M does so well)
- we use to-do list apps such as Remember the Milk and so many others
- we make lists of our favorite websites using our browser’s bookmark feature or pinboard
- we use Pinterest to make what are essentially categorized lists of just about anything
- we play games with lists on Sporcle
- we browse just about any List of <insert topic here> on wikipedia (there is even a List of Lists)
- we aggregate our favorite songs into music playlists
Every twitter feed, facebook feed, reddit feed, RSS feed, and news feed is a list.
